Kerala State Board — SCERT curriculum

The Higher Secondary curriculum follows the SCERT Kerala framework, integrating in-depth subject knowledge, practical skills and critical thinking across both Science and Commerce streams.

Examination System

Terminal and board examinations

Students are assessed through structured terminal examinations and the Kerala State Higher Secondary Board (Plus Two) Examinations, complemented by continuous internal assessment.

First Terminal

August — comprehensive term-end assessment.

Second Terminal

December — mid-year progress check.

Model Exams

February — full-length board mock papers.

Board Exams

March — Kerala HSE Board Examinations.

General Instructions

Campus guidelines & attendance rules

Punctuality

HSS students must report to campus before 08:50 AM for the 09:00 AM classes. Late arrivals require a written parental explanation.

Dress Code

Boys: White shirt with tailored ash trousers.
Girls: White churidhar top, ash pants and matching ash shawl. Identity card and campus belt must be worn at all times.

Attendance

A minimum of 85% attendance is required to be eligible for the Kerala HSE Board Examinations. Written leave applications must be signed by a parent or guardian.

Scholarship & financial support

The institution runs merit scholarships, endowment funds and financial aid programmes sponsored by the PTA, alumni network and founders — distributed annually to top board performers, science project winners and outstanding student leaders.

PTA Merit Scholarships

Annual awards for top performers in the Kerala HSE Board Examinations, funded by the active Parent-Teacher Association.

Alumni Endowments

Alumni-sponsored endowment funds recognise innovative science and commerce project winners and outstanding student leaders.

Financial Aid

Need-based financial assistance is provided to students from economically vulnerable backgrounds to ensure equal access to quality education.

Admissions

Admission to Plus One

Admissions follow the single-window online portal and merit allocation structure set by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala.

Apply Online

Apply through the Kerala Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) portal during the official window.

Documents

Submit verified SSLC mark sheet, transfer certificate, community certificate and birth proof.

Allotment

Allotment is based on SSLC grade point average and seat availability in the chosen stream.

Enrolment

Complete enrolment at the school office with original documents during the reporting date.
